1.What are the main products of RAXTENT?
The main products of RAXTENT are glass dome tents, PVC geodesic dome tents, pyramid glass tents, pumpkin shape tents, shell shape tents, geodesic zome tents, and peak hotel tents. Until now, the PVC fabric dome tent and geodesic glass dome tents are the most popular and best sell tents and favored by clients all over the world.
2.What is the main material of the glass dome tent?
The main material of the glass dome tent is aluminum alloy structure and tempered glass. The aluminum frame of the glass dome tent is widely used in aerospace industry, which is lightweight, high strength, strong and durable, not easy to deform, anti-rust, and anti-corrosion. The surface of the glass dome tent is covered with tempered glass, which is waterproof, fireproof, soundproof and UV-resistant. Tempered glass can be single-layer glass, laminated glass, hollow glass, LOW-E glass, or coated glass, which is necessary for the extremely cold or hot areas.
3.What is the main material of the PVC dome tent?
The PVC fabric dome tent is one of the hemispherical mesh structures, composed of galvanized steel tube, steel tube, and stainless steel, the surface of the dome tent is covered with PVC fabric. Usually, we used 850g/㎡ white PVC, which contains a black-out layer to effectively block ultraviolet rays, and the double-sided PVC coating can be scratch-resistant, tear-resistant, fire-retardant, flame-retardant. The flame retardant standard of PVC has reached the B1/M2 level of the European DIN4102-1.
4.What’s the usage of the glass dome tent and PVC dome tent?
RAXTENT glass dome tents and PVC dome tents are widely used for luxury hotels, camping sites, restaurants, coffee houses, tea rooms, lounges, sunrooms, yoga rooms, theaters, events, concerts, etc...
5.What is the size of the glass dome tent?
RAXTENT glass dome tent can be customized from 4M to 20M in diameter. The small glass dome tent in 3M/4M is mainly used for mini coffee shops and outdoor restaurants. The bigger glass dome tent such as 6m/8m/10m/12m/15m/20m is used for glamping hotels, geodesic dome houses, restaurants, family resorts, etc…Currently, RAXTENT is the first and the only one who can design, make and install the 20m geodesic glass dome tent successfully. It’s not an easy job but RAX TENT can do it. RAXTENT owns the exclusive patent certificates of the glass dome tent from China National Intellectual Property Administration.
6.What is the size of the geodesic dome tent?
RAXTENT has been focused on geodesic dome tents since 2015, RAXTENT can customize dome tents from 3M to 80M. The small geodesic dome tent 3m to 10m is usually used for glamping hotel tents, temporary events, and VR shows, while the bigger geodesic dome tent 10m to 30m is used for restaurants, events, product launches, projection, etc…Then, the large geodesic dome tent 50m to 80m is for big events. Attention that, RAXTENT is the only manufacturer who can design, made and assemble the 80M huge geodesic dome tent.In fact, RAXTENT recommends that dome tents above 30m only can be for short-term events, not for long-term outdoor events. It is worth mentioning that RAXTENT has successfully produced and installed the first 30M dome tent in 2016 and 50M dome tent in 2017, which is far ahead of the tent industry.
7.Can PVC dome tents and glass dome tents be used all year round?
Surely. The surface of the PVC dome tent is covered with double-coated PVC fabric, which has the characteristics of high-temperature and low-temperature resistance and can be used at -30℃- 70℃. The surface of the glass dome tent is covered with tempered glass, which has strong thermal stability. The tempered glass can withstand temperature difference of 200°C, which is 3 times stronger than the ordinary glass.
8.How about the thermal insulation of fabric dome tent?
RAXTENT has specialized in geodesic dome tents for more than 8 years, and the dome tent has been upgraded 3 times at least. In terms of thermal insulation, RAXTENT has an exclusive design with an inside layer of PU leather, a middle layer with high-strength aluminum foil and an outside layer with black-out PVC fabric. The aluminum foil is good at thermal insulation, moisture-proof, air-tight, shading, abrasion-resistant, fragrance-preserving, non-toxic and tasteless.According to the real test sets of RAXTENT, the indoor temperature is 12℃ lower than the outdoor with the thermal insulation layer in hot summer. It’s good news that RAXTENT thermal insulation system has been deeply recognized by clients and tourists.
9.How about the thermal insulation of glass dome tent?
Since the glass dome tent is covered with hollow or laminated tempered glass, that makes the dome totally enclosed and can reduce heat loss. Then, RAXTENT added the aluminum composite panel, CdTe generate glass, air conditioners, underfloor heating system, heaters as inside thermal insulations, we prefer CdTe generate glass as it’s more energy-saving and environmentally friendly.
10.What are required accessories for glamping dome hotel?
When geodesic dome tents or glass dome tents are used for glamping dome hotels, the dome should be 100% waterproof, highly windproof, fireproof, safe, etc... RAXTENT thinks the glamping dome hotel should include a strong and stable structure, high-quality outer fabric or tempered glass, glass door, ventilation system, curtains for privacy, and bathroom.
11.Why the quality of Raxtent domes are highly guaranteed?
First of all, RAXTENT raw materials are guaranteed. The raw material of the glass dome tent is provided by the first ranking in the aluminum industry. The tempered glass of RAXTENT glass dome tents has CIS certification with advantages of high strength, high safety, and high thermal stability.Secondly, RAXTENT production processes are guaranteed. 12.What is the lifespan of the dome tent?
The lifespan of the PVC fabric dome tent is 5-8 years, when the dome tent fabric was dusty, it can be replaced with a new cover, usually every 5 years.
13.What is the lifespan of the glass dome tent?
The lifespan of the glass dome tent is at least 15-20 years. The aluminum alloy frame is sturdy and durable, and the tempered glass is high quality. The glass dome tent can be removed and disassembled many times in different places.
14.Do you provide installation services?
Surely. RAXTENT has a professional engineer team for the installation of the dome tent. You can ask our engineers to be your side to help you assemble the domes with paid guide service, or you can install the dome tent yourself with our detailed installation instructions and video. Don’t worry about the installation, we will help you.
15.Do I need the permit of the dome?
Whether the building permit is required or not depends on your local situation even if the dome is temporary. RAXTENT recommends that you can consult the right departments about the issue in advance. If you need assistance, you can contact us at any time, RAXTENT will help you if we can.
16.What is the ground situation of dome tent installation?
In fact, there are no high requirements for the ground of the dome tent installation, flat grassland, concrete floor, or cement floor are all acceptable. To protect the ecological environment of the original site, RAXTENT recommends that you can additionally install a platform for the dome to be environmentally friendly.
17.Do you have any practical examples of dome tents?
Yes. Since 2015, RAXTENT dome tents are widely used in the domestic market and exported to many countries and regions such as the United States, Canada, Europe, Middle East, Thailand, and South America countries.
